Muslims declare Ilyas ‘The defender of Quran’

A brave Muslim boy Ilyas who saved the Holy Quran from burning in an anti-islam protest held in Kristiansand ,Norway has been declared as ‘The defender of Quran’ and ‘Muslim hero.’

As per details, the incident took place on November 16 when Ilyas attacked an extremist Lars Thorsen who was burning Holy Quran in front of hundreds of people in a Muslim populated city Kristiansand, Norway. Afterwards, a Muslim young boy Ilyas was arrested by local Police.

Soon after the incident, video of the Ilyas making rounds on social media as he has won millions of hearts because of his courage and boldness.

Hence, #Norway #ilyas_Hero_of_Muslim_Ummah, #Defender_of_Quran, #TheGloriousQuran started trending on Twitter in Pakistan.

Muslims from all over the world can’t get enough of Ilyas for his brave act. In fact, from local audience to Pakistani officials, cricketers and media celebrities, everyone is praising Ilyas on various social networking sites.

DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor took to his official twitter account and Saluted brave #Ilyas for displaying courage to stop an absolutely deplorable action.

Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi through his personal account, requested the Norwegian Government to step in immediately on this matter.

Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has also condemned the desecration of Holy Quran.

Local audience has also lauded Brave Muslim Boy Ilyas.

On the other hand, Pakistan and Turkey have raised their voice for the release of Ilyas and urging Norway Government to take strict action against blasphemy act.
